At the State Institution “Primary Health Care” of Buston City, an institutional stage of the city competition “Best Nurse” was held among nurses in honor of the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, the 70th Anniversary of Buston City, and International Nurses Day.
The competition was attended by the Deputy Chairperson of Buston City, Shahnoza Karimi; the Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Buston City, Manzura Yunusi; the Chief Physician of the Central Hospital of Buston City, Jurozoda Murodjon; and the Head of Primary Health Care of Buston City, Abdulaziz Jalilov. Serving as members of the jury, they highly evaluated the participants’ level of knowledge, professional skills, and competence.
In her speech, Deputy Chairperson of Buston City Shahnoza Karimi stated that the healthcare sector is one of the priority areas of the state’s social policy, and that nurses make an enormous contribution to improving public health. She added that thanks to the dedicated work of healthcare professionals, the quality of medical services provided to the population is continuously improving, and public trust in the healthcare system is becoming even stronger. It was also emphasized that supporting and appreciating healthcare workers will continue to remain at the center of attention of local authorities.
During the competition, participants competed in various categories, including professional presentation, field-related questions and answers, first aid delivery, and communication culture with patients.
The purpose of the competition was to enhance professionalism, recognize the hard work of nurses, strengthen responsibility, and promote a culture of high-quality medical service.
At the end of the event, the winners were honored with diplomas, certificates of appreciation, letters of gratitude, and commemorative gifts.
